Pastor Jones burning a koran.......is this a similar outrage to muslims burning poppies?

The people who burnt the poppies were not burning it for the sake of burning poppies and meaning to offend people. Those people were protesting about the illegitmate war in Iraq and Afghanistan and how people turn a blind eye to these. They used the burning of the poppy to show they didn't support British troops or the war at all, not as a symbol of attacking British culture.
