Can a UAE employer sponsor me for a temporary visit visa?

If hired by an UAE company, this company will provide you with an employment entry permit. This visa is valid for 2 months. During these 2 months you have to enter the UAE or the visa will become invalid. After entering the UAE the company is suppose to provide your residence visa in within 30 days.
