Can i have my fine for a MIP changed in to community service?

Hello i am a Student at Pittsburg State University in Kansas and i just received a citation for Minor in possession of Alcohol ( KSA 41-727) and was wondering could i get any monetary fine diverted in to community service due to the fact that I'm a brok
